The goal of the program is to promote the awareness and importance of international travel. First Trip’s interactive workshops are designed by our team of international scholars to benefit any local organization seeking to educate youth, parents, and college students about passports and global citizenship.
Participants engage in an exploration of the benefits of owning a U.S. passport and the many opportunities it provides. Special emphasis is placed on non-traditional travel destinations. Topics discussed include the benefits of study abroad, global career mapping, and the rise of multiculturalism.
Our team is well-versed in the application process and will explain the “nuts and bolts” of the DS-11 passport application form and required supporting documents. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to take photos on site which they can add to a passport application!
At the workshop’s conclusion, participants will be globally enlightened and prepared to finalize their applications with their new photos!*
Fact: passports not only provide a window to the world, but also serves as a widely accepted single form of identification.
* First Trip does not process passport applications or documents.
